From jaw-dropping hikes and alpine lakes to wildlife encounters and scenic drives, the Tetons are packed with unforgettable outdoor experiences. Whether you’re planning a day trip, a family adventure, or a bucket list vacation, this page covers the best things to do in the Tetons on and off the beaten path.

The Tetons are only a few hours’ drive from Rexburg, and some of the best weekend hiking trips I have ever had have been in the Grand Teton Mountain Range. Honestly, Delta Lake is just about the hardest hike I have done, but it is so worth it. And Jenny Lake is one of the clearest lakes I have ever seen in my life. I remember trying to catch a fish with my hands near the beach because it was so clear I almost caught it several times! Also, Jackson Hole near the Tetons is a great tourist place and such a fun place to buy trinkets and go out for lunch after a good adventure in the Tetons, but it is a little bit expensive there because it is such a tourist town.
