Jenny Lake on 4th of July

I went to Jenny lake on the first 4th of July I spent away from home. Me and my group of freinds had decided to go to another freinds cabin in the tetons and stay the night and it was so packed we had a one room with I belive 30 people sleeping on the floor. We then on the next day woke up and went to Jackson, Wyoming for breakfast at this yummy bagel place for breakfast! After that we explored Jackson bought some trinkets.

We then decided to go to Jenny Lake becuase my freind Dane who had been to Jenny Lake before with his family when he was younger was excited to go! And because it was the 4th of July the lake parkinglot was so full. We even may have tried to move a boulder to get a parking spot. But we got caught, we found a spot farther away. Then we headed down to the lake but we didn’t go where everyone else. We walked proably half a mile from the entrace and parking lot and we swam and had fun, and to be honest I was with Dane and his girlfriend becuase all of our other freinds headed home early so I was totally third wheeling at Jenny Lake.

But we skipped rocks and found some catepillars and almost caught a fish with our hands becuase of how clear the water was. Me and Dane where after this one fish in particular. But we could never quite get it becuase it was so fast, even though we had herded it into closer to the rocky beach.

After that we went and checked out the visiting center there, but it was more of a gift shop, but it was pretty cool! I bought some avaitors from there, that I still have to this day!
