Rigby Lake
Jefferson County Lake in Rigby, Idaho, or how the locals like to call it, is a great place to visit during the summer to cool off. It is a man-made lake that they drain each year with a sandy beach, a playground, food trucks, pavilions, camping spots, and a couple of sand volleyball courts you can reserve. Rigby Lake is open May 1st – September 30th, and it is about a 15-minute drive away from Rexburg. Go have fun at Rigby Lake this Weekend!
Jefferson County Lake
Rigby Lake has always been one of my favorite places near Rexburg. The water is usually so nice to hop in and cool off. Also it is one of my favorite places to go canoeing and paddle boarding! One time the water was so clear during my canoeing class from BYU-I, I saw 5 paddles and I swam down and found all 5! I believe I sold them at a pawn shop. I also have had a great time having ward parties and FHE at this lake. We played spikeball and sand volleyball. Also, it is a good workout to swim across the lake!
